NHS Charities Together UX, information architecture and website optimisation

Improving the digital experience without starting again

NHS Charities Together asked us to identify opportunities to improve key areas of its website, strengthening the user experience and brand clarity without undertaking a full redesign.

As the organisation evolved from a membership body into a national charity, new content had been added rapidly across the site. The challenge was to create a clearer, more intuitive digital experience while maintaining continuity for existing audiences.

We facilitated a stakeholder workshop to identify priority user journeys, review key content and define a roadmap for improving information architecture, taxonomy and page layouts. Working through a phased programme of updates, we refined core sections including Home, About, Impact, Fundraise, Donate and Partners, making the website easier to navigate and better aligned with the charity's evolving brand.

The result was a more accessible, user-focused website that improved navigation, strengthened the organisation's digital presence and created a stronger experience for supporters, donors and partners.
