Raising every voice: launching Global Citizens’ Assemblies online

The Global Citizens’ Assembly is an international initiative that gives people everywhere a say in the climate decisions that affect us all. Backed by the COP30 Presidency, their mission is to place ordinary citizens at the heart of global climate policymaking. Ahead of a major moment on the world stage, they needed a compelling new website to bring their vision to life, and fast.

We worked closely with the Global Citizens’ Assemblies team to design and develop a new website that embodied their evolving brand proposition. That meant defining how the brand should come to life visually across the site, ensuring clarity, credibility and a strong emotional connection throughout. With a fast-moving timeline, we absorbed a huge amount of complex information and made it simple, clear and inspiring for a broad audience.

Alongside the main site, we designed landing pages for Assembliss, their upcoming digital platform for citizen assemblies. This work focused on UX and interface design to introduce the platform and guide interested users through a clear onboarding flow via sign-up forms. We are also supporting the team with email strategy and implementation through Brevo to ensure a seamless experience from first interest to launch.

Since launch, we have continued to support the team with high-impact presentation and event materials, helping them tell their story at the Bonn Climate Negotiations and London Climate Week. From managing stakeholders and distilling expertise to designing for influence, our work has helped this vital movement make its mark on the global stage.
